Soy sauce, 1.9 litres. This is a 1.9LTR foodservice bottle of Chinese light soy sauce from Lee Kum Kee — the Hong Kong-based Chinese sauce giant established in 1888. This is the everyday Chinese soy sauce — saltier, lighter in colour, thinner in consistency than dark soy. Used as the primary seasoning agent in stir-fries, dipping sauces, and as the all-purpose Chinese soy sauce.
A sushi bar uses it for Chinese stir-fries, the everyday seasoning, dipping sauce for dumplings, dim sum, sushi, marinades for chicken, beef, pork, seafood, and Asian salad dressings and noodle sauce bases.
