About this aisle

Syrups in the UAE

A good syrup does a lot of the work behind a café counter. One pump turns a plain latte into a toffee nut or white chocolate one, and a splash of grenadine or mint gives a mocktail its colour. Cafés and home baristas use the same 700ml and 1L bottles.

  • Coffee syrups: vanilla, toffee nut, white chocolate, gingerbread, crème brûlée, plus sugar-free caramel and hazelnut.
  • Bar and mocktail syrups: grenadine, green mint, elderflower, lychee, watermelon and pineapple, plus lime cordial.
  • Natural sweeteners: pure Canadian maple syrup (Grade A, Amber) and agave from Monin and B Sweet.
  • Sauces: Monin caramel, dark chocolate and white chocolate mocha sauces, and Hershey's chocolate syrup, for mochas, frappés and sundaes.

Syrup questions

How many pumps of syrup go in a latte?

A common starting point is two pumps (about 20ml) in a 12oz latte and three in a 16oz. Adjust to taste: iced drinks often need a little more, because cold dulls sweetness.

Do you have sugar-free syrups?

Yes. Monin sugar-free caramel and hazelnut are in stock in 700ml bottles. You'll find them in the Monin sugar-free range.

What's the difference between a syrup and a sauce?

Syrups are thin and mix straight into hot or cold drinks. Sauces such as caramel or white chocolate mocha are thicker, so they suit mochas, drizzles and desserts.

How long does a bottle last once opened?

Keep the bottle closed, at room temperature and out of direct sun, and follow the storage guidance on the label. If you use a pump, clean it regularly.

Can I order by the case for my café?

Yes. For regular café and hotel orders, open a trade account on fnb.addtocart.ae for business pricing and invoicing.

When will my order arrive?

Order before 6am for same-day delivery in Dubai. We deliver Monday to Saturday across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, and Dubai orders over AED 150 are delivered free. We're closed on Sundays and public holidays.
