Pantai Tom Yum Paste, Thailand - 454G

Tom yum paste, 454g. Lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime, chilli and fish sauce, already in the jar. A Thai kitchen spoons it into the pot instead of building the paste from stems every service.

Tom yum goong is the soup. Noodle versions of tom yum take the same paste. A curry base and a marinade for grilled seafood use it when you want that hot-sour Thai note.

The 454g jar is what a restaurant keeps. Cool and dry, then the fridge after opening. It will smell strong. That is the paste working, not a fault.
