Gogi Tempura Flour, Thailand - 500G

Tempura flour, 500g. A batter mix for the light, lacy crust. Cold water, a short whisk, dip, fry. Do not beat it smooth. Lumps are fine. Prawn tempura is the plate. Sweet potato, pumpkin, eggplant and mushroom take the same batter. White fish, calamari and soft-shell crab take it. Chicken karaage and other Asian fried chicken can use it when you want that crust.

Wheat is in it, and it may contain egg and soy. Check the pack. The 500g suits a small restaurant and a home fryer.

Cool and dry, bag sealed. Mix only what you will fry now. A batter that sits goes flat, and the crust goes greasy.
