Bubble tea questions
How do you cook tapioca pearls?
Follow the timing on the pack. In general, boil plenty of water, add the pearls, cook until there's no white centre, then rest, rinse and hold them in a sugar syrup. Cooked pearls are best used the same day.
What's the difference between tapioca pearls and popping boba?
Tapioca pearls are chewy and need cooking. Popping boba are ready to use, with a thin skin that bursts with fruit juice.
How should I store popping boba?
Follow the storage guidance on the pack, and keep opened packs chilled and sealed.
Which cup size should I use?
500ml is the usual regular size. Our 90mm hard cups, sealable U-shape cups and lids are listed with their diameter so you can match them.
